Forgotten Australians – Life Stories Project

We had the great honour of providing branding and print design services for the Life Stories Project and designing and producing 60 books.

Story telling is recognised as an important element in healing. To tell a story suggests that the storyteller has hope. And with hope, there is a future.

Forgotten Australians are the survivors of abuse in the institutional care system of the 1930s through to the 1970s in Australia.

Funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services, the books we designed and produced document individual experiences. These stories will be shared with those who are important to the Forgotten Australians and placed in the State Library of Victoria as a permanent record of historical events.
